Dancing on the Water

So on Friday I attended a rather jolly shindig on the Thames, with food, fire-eating, limbo dancing, meringue and salsa dancing and to top it off, a conga around the boat. I must say it was very enjoyable, and especially nice seeing the sun sinking behind the London skyline and returning to see the Thames lit up like a very large Christmas tree.



The following day I enjoyed a hearty full English breakfast and felt very sorry for the poor little munchkin who went past and spilled a cup of coffee on his arm, the unfortunate little scamp.

I watched much of the Londinium edition of the Live Earth concert, and whether or not the message of the day got through, or if people were just there to watch the bands, I couldn't say. Still, it was good entertainment, especially seeing the Foo Fighters rock the joint as the light faded into night. Very cool stuff.
